TR Whistler Blackcomb II

As promised, more photos and some commentary. This time I put comments under the photos, I think it'll be easier to read.

This is me barrelling down Ridge Runner on Blackcomb. This is a fantastically fun cruising run. It is a bit difficult at the top, but worth the effort.

The Dave Murray Downhill is a 'must do' as it is the Olympic Venue for the Mens Downhill & Super G in 2010.

This is Village Run, it takes you from Blackcomb to Whistler over a highway. It was pretty neat to ski over traffic.

Chic Pea Cafe. The BEST pizza. Yum.

Symphony Amphitheater, skiing these mounds of snow was just too much fun. It was like riding a rollercoaster, feeling your stomach going up and down. What a blast!!! WhooOooaAa, WhoOoaaAaa.

Symphomy Amphitheater again, definitely my favourite place to be and possibly the most beautiful place on Earth!

Again, a fabulous set of photos. Looks like you really got to know the mountain and had fabulous weather and snow. Whistler is on my short list of "must do's" but not until I have a full 10 days to travel there, ski, and return home....

You really do need more than just a week, we didn't see the whole mountain(s) and we were there for 10 days! (only skiied 8 tho)

One important thing we found about the notorious Whistler weather, if it's raining in the village don't let that discourage you from skiing, because it's prolly snowing on the mountain or you end up above the clouds and in the sunshine.

As for the camera, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's an old 4.1MP HP

I like it because it only has 2 buttons on top, one for photos and one for video. Makes it easy to use when skiing or mounted on my bike.

Newer cameras have too much stuff on it.

Looks beautiful !! I was in Whistler for a week in the summer and stayed with relatives that live there yr round. They have invited me to come back to do some skiing, and I wish I could, tough to find the time to do it during the school yr.
I am absolutely dreaming of being there when I look at the photos....thanks for sharing !
