A bit of an addendum, even though TSV limited capacity to 25% all season on a daily basis, the overall drop in business was around 30 percent. Weekends were less busy but midweek visits were up. TSV was testing employees regularly and never had a positive test result.

TSV is in the process of updating their Master Development Plan, which guides development on U.S. Forest Service land used by resorts. The previous MDP dates from 2010. The process started in late 2019.

The primary spokesperson at public meetings about the MDP is John Kelly. He's been the Director of Operations at TSV since 2015, after working at Telluride for a decade. He first skied at Taos in 1995, on a family trip coming from Nashville, TN.

Quick interview with John Kelly geared to kids from January 2020.

Yes, it was a good presentation. I haven't had a chance to look over the pdf yet, but I suspect it will follow the presentation pretty closely, except for the Q&A.
