Touring without Testosterone

On Saturday, we finally got organized and did a backcountry outing with just this girls! The snow conditions were less than desirable, but it was a refreshing change to be out there without any boys. Despite some boot breaking-in pain and some Dynafit learning curve issues :p, the day went well. The sun was out, the scenery was beautiful, and the laughs were plentiful!

Looks awesome, as per usual. Did you come down wolverine cirque or somewhere else?

Nah...we were headed to the Cirque but we saw some good-looking snow on the ridge along the way and we didn't want to pass it up. Probably a good thing too....the chute we were going to ski is on the far right of the picture below. The apron looked like lovely breakable crust!

Remind me not to use the manual setting on the camera ever again. Those pics turned out ridiculously bad! Back to "Auto" for me. :D

Thanks for taking pics! I brought 3 jackets and 2 pairs of gloves and everything else you can think of... but left my camera at home.

We definitely need to do that again. And I need to get wider skins that fit my skis! I'm sure I provided plenty of entertainment sliding backwards on the off camber stuff though!

Awesome, ladies! Looks like you had a fantastic day! Sorry I'm not in SLC anymore to share the stoke, but put down a line for me! :ski2: :ski2:

Try uploading the photos into Picasa (free photo hosting/management program). It has some amazing tools for correcting color, shadow, saturation, exposure, etc. And they're really easy... even a photo idiot like me managed to fix some pix! :becky:

Uh yeah....these were the "fixed" pics. That's how bad I suck at taking pictures.

And that huge gigantic smudge on the lens is total amateur hour. I swear I'll pull it together at some point this season!
