Touring pants recommendations!

I just started ski touring and I have found that I am seriously lacking in appropriate pants. I have Salomon softshell XC ski pants that get soaked if I fall on my butt and then I freeze, and REI First Chair Goretex downhill bibs that I am WAY too hot in when I tour. I am open to bibs, pants, just a shell, or something that's a little warmer but not hot. My touring is more backcountry-oriented (think.. mega XC ski days with burlier skis) than skinning up at a resort. My main issue is that I am short (5' tall) and I weigh around 120-125 with all of my weight in my butt and thighs so fit can be kind of a struggle. Any recommendations?!
As a short woman who started ski touring many years ago, I have two pairs of short men's, both with full leg zips for the necessary wilderness peeing. The stretchy Marmots feel safest to me; the slick waterproof breathable Arcteryx keep me a bit dryer but much easier to slide out of control when falling on a firm-snow slope. Both are far better made than any womens' products I've looked at in the years since buying these.

I‘m looking forward to replacing my awesome older Orthovox shell pants for my ski tour season this year. The new version has a few improvements such as the back waist rides little higher and a little wool insulation placement over the buttocks. I own a number of Orthovox products specific for ski touring and am really happy with their function.

For those on a tighter budget or fir lighter ski tours, the Medola pants are a great option: https://www.ortovox.com/ch-en/shop/women/p838572-softshell-pants-mesola-pants-w?size=s

FYI, I also have an Orthovox softshell pant which I use on dry warmer days

I’m 5’3 and 125 pounds and love my norrona pants for touring.
