Fresh snow last night--7 inches of good, dry, powder. Pretty nice stuff, actually. It was 22 degrees in the parking lot and while the clouds occasionally blew away, we pretty much had steady snow, sometimes more of it than others.
Lot of people there but they were all off at the races--didn't see many away from the race area, rarely a line. The new Jeff Flood lift really makes a difference as it accesses a lot of terrain in the Still Creek area. I looked at a trail map and realized I've skied almost all of it (with the exception of a couple of blacks). It allows for a lot of spreading out, and while most of it's reasonably easy, there's a lot of space there.
The Mile and Palmer never opened--visibility and wind were problems.
But it was a sweet, sweet ski day.
17 feet of snow at the bottom of Pucci, according to a snow depth marker. Who'd a thunk it this time of year?
