Fresh snow last night--7 inches of good, dry, powder. Pretty nice stuff, actually. It was 22 degrees in the parking lot and while the clouds occasionally blew away, we pretty much had steady snow, sometimes more of it than others.

Lot of people there but they were all off at the races--didn't see many away from the race area, rarely a line. The new Jeff Flood lift really makes a difference as it accesses a lot of terrain in the Still Creek area. I looked at a trail map and realized I've skied almost all of it (with the exception of a couple of blacks). It allows for a lot of spreading out, and while most of it's reasonably easy, there's a lot of space there.

The Mile and Palmer never opened--visibility and wind were problems.

But it was a sweet, sweet ski day.

17 feet of snow at the bottom of Pucci, according to a snow depth marker. Who'd a thunk it this time of year?

How great that you made it up and had a great day! My dh made it up to Meadows yesterday but couldn't today. I could not believe the footage on the news tonight. Those who can get up to ski are so lucky for this spring snow.

Timberline... Who skis at Timberline?!

Just joshin' ya. We've been having a fantastic year at Meadows, and the days that I can see you guys at T-Line from the top of the lift, are the good ones... =)

AAAAHHH! I was up today, going up tomorrow also. Hoodgirl, I'll rip it up for you tomorrow, I know how ya feel, no good.

Ah, well, I'm a T-line girl.

At work we kinda fall into three camps--the ones who love the Bowl, those who love Meadows, and those who love T-line. Timberline has been pretty good to us, gotta admit, with the ski nights and the middle school ski day.

That said, I could see branching out next year! Just have to conquer Palmer and Mustang Sally--then it's off to Upper Bowl!

Glad you were able to make it up there yesterday, and wishing for opportunities for those who haven't been able to yet...

I've been told that Meadows has quite a bit steeper terrain than Timberline? Do you know?

It always been my opinion that Meadows has steeper terrain than Timberline.... I've skied both and I definitely think this is the case.
