The timing of the SkiDiva Cooks is great for one of my contributions which is Venison Stew, a family favourite this time of year.

I just received my cookbooks and they are REALLY nice, nicely laid out with good paper stock (no pun intended) and nice thick "ingredient-proof" covers. I'm bringing some to my aunt & cousins for Thanksgiving thank-yous.

I have no idea what mountain it is, or the year. Just something I picked up, actually on ebay. Would be nice to know, though!

It's a great image. It looks a little like the Silcox Hut above Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood in Oregon.
