How many lucky ladies have been getting out there and skiing already? Let's get a list going of when and where your first day this season was.

We don't have any hike-for-turns-to-keep-year-round-streak divas do we? As far as I could tell, tradygirl started it off this year making us all terribly jealous of her October turns

First day on the snow was Thursday at Mt. Brighton in Southeast Michigan, then over to Alpine Valley (also in S.E. MI) for the next 2 days! :D. It was Great to be back on the hill! It's been pouring rain here all day though, so it looks like I'll have a few days off! :(.

Today was a bluebird day after yesterday's snow. Not all lifts/runs are open, due to early season conditions, so I did something crazy. I started off with a few runs at Solitude and then ended with a few runs at Brighton. Tried out my new Sweet Fat Thangs and was not disappointed, especially off the groomers.

The best is yet to come.

Timberline, Nov. 23rd. Did not end well as hubby crashed and burned, with dislocated and broken shoulder. However, he's getting better, and even told me that if I get the bug to go skiing, he'll ride up with me and bring a book along!

Altogether lovely day. 2nd day out Weds the 28th, Northstar, man-made, nice day, slopes & snow not as nice as Heavenly but the company of family was fabulous. Altogether another lovely day. 3rd day will be Weds Nov 5th - my first women's clinic to attend at Heavenly- will get to meet Ski Spirit there ! woohoo.

Copper - November 30th

Last year, we had been out at least 4 times by the end of the month. The snow has been a little bit slow in coming to the Colorado Rockies this year. However, I finally got out on the last day of November and made some turns at Copper. I skied today too, also at Copper. It's great to be back making turns!

My first day out was today at Okemo with Ski Diva, who is a great skier. A little too windy for photos, but a great day. They had lots of new snow, though I stuck to the groomers where I am a more confident skier. My new boots were great, as were the new skis (last year's Volkl Attiva AC2s). Extremely windy and kind of chilly on the lift, but a great start to the season. It really looks like Winter in Southern Vermont!

Skied Nov 30th and Dec 1st at Snowshoe, WV. It was man made snow (but hey I didnt care). The weather was awesome. Cold but Sunny. Truly great conditions...it just felt so good to be back on the slopes. NTM my new Rossy Attraxion V's kick butt. They carved so buttery smooth and with such ease. They get up on edge so effortless. Def an enjoyable and inspiring time
