The Edge of Never - Book Review

This book, written by Bill Kerig, is the story of the making of a ski film. But more than that it's the story of a young boy exploring the world of his father before him who died in a ski accident when he was young. The book grabs your attention from the beginning and as the story develops you feel as though you're there, experiencing the moments, watching the emotion. I'm excited to see the movie when it's ready!

To order the book in a signed copy order from https://theedgeofnever.com/ and Bill will sign. I enjoyed a very pleasant exchange with Bill at the time I ordered.

I'd be interested in discussing the book with anyone else who has read it. One interesting thing which I won't go into detail on is an unconventional grammatical style. I'd noticed it while reading and was unsure of the reasons and somewhat surprised that the editor hadn't caught it but Bill explains it at the end.

I read the prologue and 1st Chapter last night and I really don't want the book to end - or last as long as possible so I can savour it. The language excites me! He talks about the tightening of his boots at the top of a run and I can totally relate to it.
I've only skied 48 days so far over the past 4 years but I'm so hooked - how I wish I had been born into a north American family in the Rockies or Europe or somewhere where it snows good, hard and deep.

Oh and I hadn't read that the book would be signed when I ordered it online - a blast!

I'm looking forward to purchasing the movie on DVD.

The good news is I overheard they are working on a European release for the movie!
