Somehow, I don't think anyone would want to see me in a calendar. Not with this severely out of shape post-partum body. :( I really need to get my butt in gear. Running out of time...
But a Mr. Divas calendar. Now that's interesting. (And what a double standard even we have, eh?
)ETA: BTW, that's quite the link! The calendar is clearly photo-shopped at least partially, if not wholly. But what a concept, eh?

Yes, I was the one who digged up the link. I'll take the flack, if they come. I can't say I like ALL of the pictures there but I do think some of them are tastefully done and quite beautiful. I like the men's photo more than the women as a whole.
I just think a woman's body is a beautiful thing and we shouldn't be ashame of showing it. But not in the sexually submissive posteur as in the Lange's Girl!
I would love to see a shot of a ski diva in bikini jumping off the cornice!
(I know, it'd be cold)

There is a fairly well-known yearly climbing calendar called Stone Nudes that is very tastefully done. They are all women, artistic nude shots actually climbing. Usually b&w. They did one once with guys but it didn't sell, go figure. If you want to see some tastefully done nudes (that are totally inspiring and not at all demeaning), check it out!

I actually do know a guy who was in an ad published in Couloir magazine years ago where all he wore was ski boots. A girl friend of mine subscribed to the magazine and was flipping through it one day and suddenly was like, "HEY! That's ___!" So of course we promptly posted the ad in a prominent location at school. :D

A few years back a few women patrollers from kicking horse resort did a similar calander . . . very fun . . . very cheeky!!!

Do the breast cancer survivors in your areas not do a topless yearly calendar to support the cause? We do around here and it is actually very artistically done, alot of outdoor shots, and really a pretty neat thing all around. Sadly, I ussually know about half of the women in there. I've spent enough time on the river and in the backcountry, I am pretty immune to naked people in the woods, so most of this stuff doesn't sway me one way or another, but I do get swayed by the BC calendar. It's a pretty strong message.

The ladies in our area did a breast cancer fundraiser a few years ago that was a Godiva On the Greens calendar.
The women were all over the age of 50, and posed topless on different golf courses in our area. FYI, its easier to hide behind ski boots and skis than golf clubs.

Funny thing about that calendar.............
I bought some for some of my female friends as a reminder to take care of their breast health.
One of them has a son, who got about half way through the year and went.............ewwwwww, thats one of my teachers.
I nearly fell on the floor laughing.
Keeping in mind that these women were fully covered, though somewhat obviously nude.
