The California Megastorm - The Other "Big One"

Has anyone else been reading about this? There was a new study published talking about the Megastorm that will hit the West Coast sometime this century and pretty much wipe out all of Central Valley, California. It will rain for a month straight and all the run off from the Sierra Nevada will flood Central Valley causing over $1 trillion in damages, destroying farmland and killing many. Here are some article about it plus the study that was done:

I'll be in the Reno/Lake Tahoe region next week to look around and see if I would like to move there in the future. Reading about drought and wild fires every other day and now about the Megastorm has me moving Reno further down the list places I would like to move to.

Yes, I read an article about this recently. The drought situation in NM is also the reason I've decided not to move back there, although I loved living there, and would love to move back.

Speaking of drought, we've had a severe drought here in usually wet New England. I live north of Boston and was away the month of August. There has been a water ban - absolutely no outdoor watering - for over a month here. I came home to find everything toasted in my extensive garden. Some things may never revive.
