Oh my, I've been skiing for so long. Best ever skis still would be my Head Racing SR's (1980s). I got my level 2 ski instructors on those puppies. Boots I still liked my Raichle flexons the best (late 1980's). Worst skis - Tyrolia M3's (I think). Too long, too stiff, so I sold them to my banker! Worst boots ever - Rossi softs. I felt like I was wearing high heel boots to ski in. I only skied 2 1/2 days in them. Worst poles - anything with the solid "pistol or thumb breaker" grips. Hurt my thumb and were useless for teaching.

Hmm, so many to choose from! I would have to say that I absolutly hated a pair of Elan RC's that I bought because Ingemar Stenmark was racing on them! (I had a hugh crush on him!) circa 1982. I didn't have to many skis that I hadn't had the advantage of skiing the season before. That was the one and only time I bought a ski that I hadn't demo'd I learned my lesson. As for boots same era a nasty pair of Dolomite "Secret Weapons" ( ski school director talked me into them!) the only thing that was a secret was how to get enough angle to edge on them! I actually preferred my "Nava"s to them! Yes I was one of those Nava skiers, they were free and my friend was the Rep. I was in college on a budget! You definetly learned to use your ankles and keep your feet underneath you! Lol! My favorite skis too many to choose from K2 710 FO race stock, Volkl P9 SL, Olin DTV & Apex, My first pair of Nordica Dobbie SL's (the ugly gray ones) and of course my Fire foxes. Favorite boots? My old orange lange bansee's 1979-80! Coldest boots I ever owned and I still don't grow hair on certain places on my shins from the " lange bang, but I won a lot of races on them! Lol!
