I like it - but only because I don't know anything about bindings and wouldn't be able to make an informed choice on my own. It's all I can do to pick out the skis!
(I'm afflicted with a need to research, which quickly turns everything into an overwhelming project, and then I get paralyzed that I'll make the wrong choice.)
They're heavy. Have you seen me trying to carry my skis?
I actually like the flexibility of forward/aft adjustments,
. Otherwise no complaint! They're heavy. Have you seen me trying to carry my skis?
I have these are well, and wasn't aware they were available flat. I never saw them sold like that in VT. But yes, my biggest complaint about them is the weight. I'm thinking of selling them this season, as it's not much of a Western ski anyway. In some cases I don't mind the integrated bindings, as I like Marker bindings, which seem to be used a lot, but I didn't make the connection that is why they were so heavy. Before the BL's I had Volkl 5 Stars, also integrated, which were so heavy I felt like my boots was being pulled off my feet on the lift. Those wound up on ebay pretty soon after I got them!I bought them flat. They were available both ways ('06/'07). Originally I bought ones with the system setup and promptly returned them. Shaved off about 4lbs, that's 2lbs per ski! I put Salomon Z10ti's on them.
