Sunday River hires new GM, Brian Heon from Wildcat

Boyne Resorts has hired Brian Heon to be General Manager at Sunday River. Dana Bullen has been Pres. and GM for quite a while. He will remain as Pres. of Sunday River.

Heon has been working in the ski industry for a long time. Was at Mt. Snow before Wildcat. His wife's family has been in the ski industry for a few generations. She hired him for a lift ops job in Park City over 20 years ago. He was at Mt. Snow before taking over as GM at Wildcat in 2013.

Found a pretty interesting interview with Dana Bullen. He's a local. Given that he's staying at Sunday River as President, there will be a very strong leadership there going forward.

Hopefully Boyne Resorts will find ways to implement the enhancements planned for the next decade. Boyne figured out how to weather the 2008 recession. Being a privately-held family business has it's advantages.
