Summer at your ski resort

I'm going to be doing some trail riding (MTB) at my ski resort this week. I was wondering does anyone else visit their ski hill in the summer?

Does your ski hill have summer activities? Blue Mountain has MTB trails, golf courses and various events like Summerlicious and the Chili Cook Off to keep people coming in the summer.

What does your resort do to keep you coming year round?

Okemo has free concerts every Friday night (except for this past Friday, whey charged for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra). And they have a golf course, too.

Smuggler's Notch is our winter and summer desination with our kids each year. It's a great year round resort. And my kids' dad and stepmom are taking them to Mont Tremblant this August for vacation....

Well Tremblant is not my summer destination as I live on the Bay and have Lake Ontario to play in/on. But I do know that there is lots to do up there. They have a beach, tennis, golf, alpine luge, mini-golf, the linear park for inline skating and bikes. Mountain biking had problems up there and there is NO lift access. But there are trails. Hiking is big and white waterrafting. SNWL your kids will have a great time up there.
As for culture its there too. Concerts day and under the stars. Film festival is this weekend. Last year they even did some Shakespeare.
SNWL have your kids check out www. tremblant-insider.com Russ lists everything about the place. If you need specifics join the chat room and ask for the kiddos.
Which reminds me SnowHot you should look at his "golf report". Still pics and video of the one of the golf courses.

And how could I forget the Elvis Festival!!!!

Bravosarah, that's freakin funny!!!

I golf at my ski resorts, and will likely mt bike at Boyne some time soon, but haven't made the trip up there yet.

I go to different resorts in summer. Brianhead, Deer Valley, Sundance, etc. Alta doesn't really do anything in summer - there is hiking, but nothing to actually attract business. Snowbird has some activities, concerts, hiking... I usually end up going to their Oktoberfest for an afternoon, but that's about it. I spend summer traveling around to various resorts that have put some effort into providing lift served mountain biking.
