Help Needed: Suggestions for NH skiing this week?

We are thinking of popping over to New Hampshire for a few days midweek (from Vermont.) Just two good adult skiers, based at Okemo, but looking for a bit of variety. Any suggestions? We have the Epic pass, so Attitash and Wildcat are easy options. Colleagues have suggested Cannon or Gunstock. Would love to hear your thoughts, including current conditions and insider advice.

If you like Okemo, you'll love Bretton Woods. You'll get lovely views from every lift, ski lots of groomers both blue and green. There are beginner bumps, glades of different difficulties, one genuinely for beginner bump skiers, and the base lodge is big and comfortable. There's no hill from the parking lot to the base lodge; it's flat, so you don't have to lug your gear up a hill after parking.

Drive across the street to the Mt. Washington Hotel for apres; sit in the massive lobby and enjoy people-watching. Find a seat under the moose and play chess while enjoying your Irish coffee.

I just took a quick look at the snow report. Looks like much of the mountain is open, including glades.

^^^^ I love Bretton Woods and agree with the suggestions above. You could ski a sequence of Cannon, Bretton Woods and then Attitash or do it in the reverse order, if you want a sampler. They are not far from each other on 302. Cannon is a skiers mountain, meaning it can be cold, windy, and icy, but when conditions are good, especially for good skiers, it's great. Same for Wildcat which is further east and then north. Not much lodging along 302. If you don't want to splurge for Mt. Washington Hotel/Bretton Arms (there used to be a motel option but no longer) and are not fussy, we have stayed in motels in Carroll/Twin Mountain. There is a wider range of options at either end Franconia/Sugar Hill/Littleton or No. Conway/Jackson.

Very happy to discover this recent thread on Bretton Woods! Husband and I are cautious intermediate skiers, we want to improve but also like just cruising along on groomers. We live NYC and have booked 5 nights at Omni Mt Washington, first week of March. Would be grateful for any suggestions/recommendations for non-ski activities to try or explore while we are there, as well as dining options to try outside of the Mt Washington hotel. Many thanks!

There are so many restaurants in North Conway. Take a look at this list.
I always liked May Kelley's, Moat Mountain, and Peaches. On a weekend there will be lines.
Red Parka Pub on 302 is good too.

Fabyan's Station right thereon 302 is less fancy than hotel and food is good. At one time was owned by the resort, not sure any longer.
The Mt. Washington Cog Railway runs a shorter excursion in the winter but is fun.
Pretty sure there are nordic ski trails at Mt. Washington Hotel on the golf course there, and equipment rentals.
It's a bit of a ride, but family has liked Littleton Diner in Littleton. That's a real town with stuff to do including a TJMaxx where I had to buy a parka last min, when I left mine in mud room at home while loading the car, ha ha!
Franconia and Sugar Hill are scenic and have nice inns/restaurants. There's a Garnet Hill Outlet Store at their HQ in Franconia, if shopping is your thing. Lots of outlet and other shopping in North Conway.

So, we found a deal on the Mount Washington Omni hotel at Bretton Woods website - stay 2 nights, 3rd night free. (Although the website wouldn't accept the reservation, and Omni reservations said the offer was not valid. Argh, took a long phone call and a referral to a supervisor to get the deal. Corporate reservations apparently don't know what's happening on the ground?) Still pricy, but hoping it will be a special trip. Lift tickets for seniors (65+) midweek are only $40 in advance! ($51 on day of.) That's a deal right there! We'll ski BW at least one day, and try one or two of the nearby mountains if we feel like it. And get snugly home before Friday's rain. Thanks for all of the suggestions.
