OMG! Is all I can say about skiing Sunday at the Loaf. MSL and DH were there and no pics because when the East is that good you just don't stop for pics. It was just fantastic. Met Fatoots while her DS was racing. I am short so of course the 18" deep pow seemed even deeper.
Ligh and fluffy with 8 degree temps. It made the 4.5 hr drive home woth it.:thumbsup:

Easily one of the top 2 or 3 days ever for me in 8 years of New England skiing. (We REALLY SHOULD have taken ONE pic!) (But who could stop?) Have seen big snows but rarely anything that light. Awesome day. I....am......beat! See ya -- you know when/you know where!
p.s. summit reported 24"

 Left the camera in the car. I know, I know....
Explanation/excuse: we get - maybe, if we're lucky - one day per season like this here. Maybe. I will go as far to say that it was one of the best. But, given our cut-trail, densely-wooded configuration, the available skiing acreage isn't huge (1800 boundary to boundary but only 650+- as open runs)(but some super-tight trees for those able). SO.....it's "get it while you can" time on a day like that. And so we did. My first real, full face shot EVER in the east. Surprised me so much that I was startled, then laughed, then roared and had to stop. I can die happy now :becky:
