I'm "blacked out" at Killington for this holiday weekend. Anyone know of any cheap motels/lodges near Sugarbush?

Check out the chamber of commerce's website www.madrivervalley.com, there should be some good information about lodging in the area. Let me know if you have any questions on a specific location.

I hope this helps.

I have checked some websites and can't find anything cheap; maybe due to this holiday weekend.... did see some around $79 but not avail this weekend or require 3 nights. :(
oh well, I think Ill go to Jiminy Peak on Monday.

Day late and a dollar short

I know of cheap lodging in the Mad River Valley - It's called Ramapo Mountain Ski Club!

I've been a member for the last 9 or so years.... for $60 you get a bunk bed for two nights, two breakfasts and dinner on Saturday night. The lodge is right down the road from MRG. If they don't plow you can ski out, and you can always ski in.

It's 5 minutes down the road to Sugarbush. check it out ramaposkiclub.org

Golden Lion is one of the cheapest in that area (and the owner is a member of AlpineZone). It's not fancy, but it will get you a clean place to sleep and breakfast in the morning. Not continental breakfast; they actually cook!

Sugar Lodge is nice. I've stayed there before. Convenient to SB and MRG. Clean, nice common area, hot tub (we didn't get to use it though).

Thanks for the excellent info! Another weekend soon I'll get up there. I can get vouchers for cheap tix at a local ski shop and I can definitely handle a bunk room, what a deal!
