Though it pains me to type this, spring ski deals are starting to appear. So post 'em when you see 'em.

Crotched Mountain (NH) has announced a $99 pass to ski or ride for the rest of the 2007 winter season.

The season nearing its end is sad, to be sure, but it's made all the sadder by the fact that we don't even get consolation deals like that here!

Mt Sunapee, NH Thursday deal

I just saw that Thursday is season pass day on the Mt Sunapee web site (www.mtsunapee.com) Show your season pass from any area and it is a $39 lift ticket.

Okemo has a Buy-One-Get-One-Half-Off offer every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday through the month of March. Buy a single-day lift ticket at the full price of $66, and you can get a second lift ticket for half price. I think you have to buy the tickets at the mountain's web site.

Tremblant has started to sell its "SPIN PASS". This is a season's pass for the rest of the year starting March 25th. Now you have to live local to get one. $99 plus taxes - $115.60 March 25 till April 16th. Not too bad when lift ticket off the street is $ 64.50!!

Whiteface Mountain (NY) is offering a special Spring Ticket for unrestricted skiing from March 23 through the end of the season.

Prices are as follows:
$49.00 Juniors 7-12 years of age
$79.00 Teens 13-19 / Seniors 65-69
$99.00 Adults 20-69

You can help prevent hunger in Vermont by skiing and snowboarding at Stowe Mountain Resort on April 15. This Sunday, you can help the Vermont Food Bank by bringing two canned or non-perishable food items to the Mansfield Base Lodge in Stowe. Each person who donates can purchase a full-day ticket, valid that day, for only $25.
