Spray on waterproofing

Ok so I have watched with detergent, rinsed three times and washed with tech wash. It’s time to spray on the DWR. it says I have the option to tumble dry after. Do I need to let it drip dry first? Will it leave a residue on my dryer? I don’t want our normal clothes to become water repellent too, right? Thank you! paging @geargrrl!

Oh and speaking of which, how often do you wash your jackets and pants? My kids will often jump into puddles, slide in snow banks, and roll around on the snow so I tend to wash them every week. Last weekend I noticed they had wet spots in the butt area which is why I waterproofed them again tonight.

Use a sponge brush. It is much easier to spread it evenly. If it's dripping get the excess witt the brush. No issues with putting it in the dryer. Dryer is important to activate and set the DWR. Use only enough heat to set it; do not over dry in high heat.

Severtal times a season is probably good. Weekly sounds like a lot for waterproof/breathable ski wear.

Haha! No this is on ski days either before or after skiing  so it’s the ski gear they have on for it. We always build in lots of time to just play so they always look forward to ski days.
