Sooo - when can you buy next year's skis?

Now that I'm head over heels in love with the Mantras, I find myself in a bind.

1) Do I just buy this year's Mantra & ski them the rest of the season?
or
2) Do I wait for next year's Mantra to come out & buy those instead?

I just came to the sad conclusion that March is just around the corner. That means that ski season is coming to an end WAY too quickly. However, March in Colorado is historically one of our snowiest months...

When does the new NEW stuff come out? What would you do?

The question is - Is the Mantra still available next year? That will answer any question about when!

I thought that too. Further adding to my purchase strife!!

However, given the rave reviews & popularity of the Mantra - I'd be quite surprised if Volkl didn't renew the greatness for next season.

I think they are out next year.

Maybe you could find a good deal at the end of the season.

I am in the same predicament as you! I am planning on buying the Volkl Auras, but I think I've decided to just go ahead and wait until fall. I started searching the internet to see if I could find any info on Volkl's skis for next year. I Googled 2008-2009 volkl skis and came across a lot of European websites, particularly the Russian ones, that had the info I was looking for. You have the option of translating the websites. If you're interested in seeing the new skis for 08-09, I would Google them.

I chose option #1...fyi. Emailed the "Volkl Guru" & he told me this year's & next are the same ski - no changes to the spec. So I went crazy on the impulse buy. BUT - I did sell my Nancy's the same day - so it's all good!
