The reviews are starting to come out. But does anyone have any real insight into the new models? Has anyone tried out a new pair? If so, could you share your thoughts?
I don't want to name drop, but I recently had a conversation with Deb Armstrong (Gold Medal Winner Women's Giant Slalom, 1984 Olympics), and she says the Nordica Olympia Firefox is an "awesome ski." Don't know anything about it, but that was enough to spark my interest!
Here's some info from Al's Ski Barn:

The Nordica Olympia Firefox skis are one of the most stable women skis out on the market. With a Slalom tip and a GS tail the Nordica Olympia Firefox skis will let you get into a turn easily, while gaining stability and speed from the tail. Built by Nordica from the ground up the Olympia Firefox skis are built specifically for expert women skiers who need a real ski.
The Nordica XBS/XBi System
The Nordica XBS/XBi systems are built uniquely for the needs of the female skier. The Nordica system allows women to unlock the "sweet Spot" of the ski. Additionally the Nordica XBS/XBi systems are equipped to accommodate adjustable mounting positions on the ski allowing women to a "waist-forward" position if they prefer.
