I am going up on MLK weekend for the first time this season. I've been skiing once a season for the past 4-5 years and want to take a lesson to improve techniques on turns, form, etc. I've never taken a lesson before but have no trouble making down greens and the occasional blue run.
Could anyone here refer me to someone good at Snowshoe or Silver Creek? Since I have never had a lesson I'm torn between saving money with a group lesson vs. booking a private lesson. Are instructors good at catering to different skier abilities during lessons or will I get stuck learning to snowplow again? Is a private lesson of such value that it is worth 2 group lessons? Cost wise that is about how it breaks down at Snowshoe.
