TEE HEE !!! 
Aspen is opening from Friday....til the snow is gone!! Snowmass is opening as well, but only the Burlingame chair, and mostly just for the summer campers who have a summer-time glacier rail park set up.
But 7 runs on Aspen. It was mostly done as a PR stunt due to the Food & Wine Classic this weekend...but I don't care!!!
Lunch runs on Friday?
Beers on the Sundeck?? LOVE IT

Hey, skigrl27, got a place on the sofa open?
Absolutely!! No really...come on over! It's funny because I was planning on skiing tomorrow from 10-1, but I just scored a Food & Wine Classic pass for the grand tasting. So I'll ski on Saturday instead. Rumor has it TONS of people are coming from all around to ski Aspen - so it may be ridiculously crowded. But who cares!! If lifts are running, I'm skiing. Also just heard rumblings about Highlands opening up so folks can ski the bowl...??? Crazy.
Sunday is whitewater rafting for me, so looks like Saturday is my ski day.
Life is tough in this little place they call Aspen.

actually - i think there is a marketing position open. There are also 2 bedroom employee housing units rarely available in El Jebel for $1350 a month.

I'm now a ~green~ mouse, with envy!!! It was 100+ degrees here this past week! I haven't seen snow since I flew to Lansing, MI for Easter!

Ok ladies - not much to brag about. Sunny and gorgeous weekend every day here - but skiing Ajax was more of a novelty than it was actual "skiing."
I took one run, waited 15 minutes in line at the only lift open...went to the Sundeck and had mimosas in my tank top & ski boots.
Sooo...not exactly a "ski day" - but it was still fun.
