Snowday Counter

Yep, I'm just like the high school kids. I have an account at Facebook. One of the coolest things about it, though, is this neat application called "Snowday Counter." You can use it to keep track of when and where you ski, and even make notes about each entry. Plus you can view your friends entries, too.

I'm up to Day #16! Anyone else use this?

I don't have "Snowday Counter" but I do have a Countdown application.

Right now it reads 43 days, 3 hours, 38 minutes and 38 seconds 'till Whistler Blackcomb!! :becky:

I'm also a Skier in the 'Skiers Vs Snowboarders' battle. :fencing:

Sheena , how many days in your "new" boots ??

I have 8, going again tomorrow. I don't use face book.

Ok. so this is day 2 in my new boots. In the morning they were really tight in the toe and I was really worried that I got the wrong boots again. However after lunch they seemed to have packed out a bit and they were really comfortable. It makes such a huge difference.

I even tried some powder again today... and it was FUN!

I'm not on the facebook, anyone know if there's a counter like that on myspace?

So far I'm at 12 days, but a lot of them were short- squeezed a few runs in between things.

Low tech ski counter here:

when I get to the lift for the first time on any given day, lift dude puts a sticker on the back side of my season pass!

When I want to know, I count stickers!

(first one tomorrow!)

I'm on Facebook and have the Snowday counter, but there's a better application on www.paskiandride.com (of course you have to join) to track your days, vertical, average vert per day, average vert per run, total runs to date, etc. etc. etc.

I was doing most of that myself in Excel starting in 1989, though.

I LOVE my Facebook Snowday Counter. Today will be Day 20 for me!! Heading over to Snowmass.

I don't want it to tell me anything about vert; I think that'd make me sad. Runs per day, now that's a different story :D

My best friend's dad skis a hill with 1200 vert. He challenges himself to ski "Everests," 29,000ft+ of vert, which I would have to think is challenging on ANY hill.

Oh that's neat. So SkiDiva, Bravosarah can we be friends??
I'm in it too.
Up to 11 days..........so far!

Look me up, I'll be your friend!
For those who may be sensitive to posting their name on the open forum, maybe we should have a thread in the DOD area to post our facebook names.
