Snowbound Expo Nov 15-17 2024

Snowbound is already sending out emails for the 2024 expo. I haven't seen mention of speakers yet, but there has been a switch of the "official retail partner" for this coming year. It will be Colorado Ski Shop instead of SkiEssentials. My first thought was "why not another New England based partner, why Colorado?" But it turns out that despite the name, Colorado Ski Shops two stores are in West Springfield, MA and West Dover, VT. I liked what SkiEssentials had set up this past year. I'm curious to see how Colorado will compare. I'm also curious to see if switching up retail partners will be a thing, or if they will settle on one.

Hi there,

I can answer some of your questions (I'm Chloe, Marketing Director for the USA events that Raccoon Media Group organize).
We have started inviting guests already so that we encourage any earlybird visitors to redeem their free ticket before the codes are switched off closer to the expo. I advise you book early so that you don't have to pay for a ticket in a few months!
We have changed to a different retailer because we want to ensure that there is enough stock for visitors to purchase at the event. A lot of the visitor feedback indicates that there isn't enough to buy so we have are welcoming Colorado Ski Shop as the Official Retailer (they are well-versed with huge expos and can provide the stock for you to buy and take home the very same day!). We are working with them to bring in major brands to the expo so you can shop from a wide range of products for the coming season.

We have confirmed 2 speakers and a host for our Inspiration Stage. www.snowboundexpo.com/speakers

If you would like anything else answered, please do post and I should be able to help

Would any Ski Divas like to arrange a meet-up at the expo? We could organize a specific time and place for a meet-up for coffee and meeting face to face?
let me know!

It is my intention to be at Snowbound.
My husband, Phil and I work with Snowbound on some of the marketing and feel like its a phenomenal way to kick off the season.

If you happen to talk about boot fitting this time, I'll happily offer my feet up ;)
Haha I love that! I could be a volunteer as well.. if anyone wants a wide forefoot, skinny heel, super low instep annoying foot to relate to. :laughter:

Wow, really CSS. I have been to their store! I also didn’t think this would be in CSS budget. Will be interesting thanks @diymom for the heads up

I should have posted this a while ago, but until I started wearing long pants to walk my dogs I just kept telling myself it could wait. Less than 3 months to go until the Snowbound ski expo. The speaker line up keeps growing https://snowboundexpo.com/speakers.

I'm looking forward to meeting up with Divas like usual, and will definitely be there on Friday and Saturday, possibly Sunday too depending on the speakers since I live pretty close.

For anyone thinking of going, there are currently free tickets available, just use my ambassador code KIKI when ordering.

We ended up pulling out of Snowbound this year. Just too many things pulling us in different directions, so we had to make the difficult decision to not attend this year. :(
I really do believe that Snowbound is a fantastic event. Have fun Ya'll!

Just snagged my free tix! Thanks so much @kiki. Thinking of hosting a Diva pizza party on the Sat PM as I did a couple of years ago…any interest?
Yes! Thanks for offering to host again.

I'll be driving up to Boston for Snowbound Expo. It's been great fun meeting more Divas in person.

The dates/times for Snowbound Expo the same for the weekend, but a bit different on Friday. Will open later in the afternoon on Friday and stay open later. Makes sense because last time it seemed odd to be closing at 7pm when people were showing up after work in the late afternoon.

Friday, Nov. 15: 3:30pm – 9pm
Saturday Nov. 16: 10am – 7pm
Sunday Nov. 17: 10am – 4pm

The location is the same as last year, BCEC Hall C, near Seaport.
