This is exciting -- just checked the long range forecast (yes, I'm an obsessive weather checker), and for Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday nights next week, they're forecasting snow showers in Vermont!!!!

I know you Divas out west have had snow, but could our turn finally be coming???? :snow:

I'm an obsessive weather checker

I, too, am an obsessive weather checker and once snow starts to fly, I start checking snow condition reports at various locations mostly in the Northeast but also for Western locales.

Ski Diva, are you seeing any snow blowing activity at Okemo? Their website says they're targeting to open 11/17 and that's soon!

I wish I had a nickel for every time I look up the weather on line.
Hope it sticks!!!!

Stuck with a high pressure system here. Its been nice weather, at least for biking. I keep wondering what happened to all that beautiful snow (shakes fist at Ullr -hmmm, is there a smile for that??). Hope you get the snow showers in VT!

I also have to add myself to the obsessive weather checker, :help: I check several different weather sites almost daily. I somehow developed a weather obsession when I was in elementary school. In the spring, I was constantly monitoring the weather for sever storms and tornados, and starting in November I would call the snow hotline for Western NY and SW PA to check on the conditions for resorts in the area- every day before school, and before trips even more so. Thankfully for my mom the hotline was a 1-800 number!

I can't wait for snow - wish we'd really get some cold weather. We have a weather station in Vermont and a web cam pointed at Stratton (https://skigod.us/), but no sign of snow making yet. Hasn't been cold enough for long enough. I'm getting very impatient!
