Snow in the Presidentials!

That's right! In August!

Heard there was snow in the Presidential range in NH the other night. In fact, they had to cancel a scheduled bike race up Mount Washington because of the weather. Snow, sleet, and high winds were knocking over the volunteers at the top (well, the latter was, anyway).

BTW, it was 46 degrees when I woke up this morning, here in VT!

Doesn't surprise me. I remember going to summer camp in northern Ontario in August. You always took your ski jacket, just incase. I've seen it snow there. And it was only 50 degrees here this AM on the north shore of Lake Ontario.
