Snow emergency.

Joe and Lena were sitting down to their usual cup of morning coffee listening to the weather report coming over the radio. "There will be three to five inches of snow today and a snow emergency has been declared. You must park your cars on the odd-numbered side of the street."

Joe got up from his coffee and replies, "Jeez, OK."

Two days later, again they both are sitting down with their cups of morning coffee and the weather forecast is, "There will be two to four inches of snow today and a snow emergency has been declared. You must park your cars on the even-numbered side of the street."

Joe got up from his coffee and replies, "Jeez, OK."

Three days later, again they both are sitting down with their cups of coffee and the weather forecast is, "There will be six to eight inches of snow today and a snow emergency has been declared. You must park your cars on the ..." and then the power went out and Joe didn't get the rest of the instructions. He says to Lena, "Jeez, what am I going to do now, Lena?"Lena replies, "Aw, Joe, just leave the car in the garage."

When I hear that report my car is moving up to the mt, NOT parked on either side of the street! LOL

Wonder if the person who wrote this joke lives in Maine. I swear, people actually DO this in Maine! Their garages are too full of junk and misc to store their CARS! In rural Maine, where I live, that would mean parking the car in the yard, probably the "dooryard" (don't ask). Very rare to see a car up here w/o a roof full of snow. Also somewhat rare to even see garages, though you can bet the garage, if it exists, is more of a junk storage facility than a place for vehicles. :noidea:
