I'll be happy to update about Snowbasin throughout the season.
Today's report (9am til about noon.): Lap Middle Bowl chair and avoid the lower half of the mountain as it got rained on last night and is a sheet of ice today.

All lifts are now open. Protected areas on No Name are skiing phenomenal. Get it while you can--8 day dry spell coming up, but stay in bounds. Hells had a slide down to the ground shortly after this latest storm cycle ended. Anything not controlled is pretty spooky.

I have only been up three times this year so far. The best conditions I had was on Christmas Eve. Hope things don't get too gnarly with our dry spell coming up.

I was up today, and was expecting a zoo, but it was so quiet for a Saturday. The conditions were mainly windbuffered, and icy in spots, but I was able to find a few runs with some soft snow still around. There is still great coverage compared to recent years, but we definitely need some fresh snow.
