For those who do not yet qualify for their amazing senior mid-week prices, Bretton Woods is selling discounted mid-week ticket packs for a limited time. 2 days- $129, 3 days - $189, 4 days $249. The announcement said it is a "limited time flash sale" but did not say for how long it will be available.

Even for large destination resorts in the Rockies, if you have a specific resort on your bucket list, it pays to see what offers they have during pre-season and early season. Meaning August-October. If you don't plan to ski enough to justify Ikon, Epic, Mountain Collective or any sort of season pass that covers that resort, might find an unexpected deal.

For example, this is from the Palisades Tahoe website in early September:


For Aspen/Snowmass:

"Book your lift tickets early and save. Reserve at least 30 days in advance and enjoy 15% off 2-3 day tickets, or up to 25% off 4+ days. Save 7+ days in advance for 10% off 2-3 lift tickets, or up to 20% off 4+ days."

For Big Sky, here are advanced ticket prices for a 1-day in March as of September:

Sunday River has two multi-day packs available. A 3-pack for Maine good at Sunday River, Sugarloaf, and/or Pleasant Mountain is $269. The New England pack adds Loon and a 4-pack is $345. No blackout dates for either pack.

PGRI has had 4-packs for a while for Wisp and Wintergreen. I noticed when the 4-packs were introduce because these resorts are in VA/MD so driving from my home in NC is an option.

Jackson Hole is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and on December 19, the date when they opened their doors 60 years ago, single day lift tickets will cost just $60. They promise to offer other deals throughout the year, too.

Not sure this qualifies as "cheap" but Powder Mountain is offering a 4-pack for 2025-26. Good any day except the Passholder Only weekends Feb. 7 thru March 1, 2026. In Feb 2026, a day ticket runs $177-205 depending on the date. Fridays always the highest, Tue-Wed always the lowest,

Tenney in NH has come up with a 3-pack. It's $175, no black out dates, and transferable. Meaning could use all three tickets on the same day for the buyer and two friends, or the buyer could use it for 3 days any time during the season. Vouchers are mailed so could give a voucher to a friend or two to use.

Cannon is having a flash sale online for transferable 3 packs for $199 Nov 8-11.

Bretton woods will be selling discounted weekday tickets at Snowbound next weekend for $79 (window rate for weekdays this year is $107)

Starting today and continuing on through Cyber Monday (12/1), Magic Mountain (VT) is again offering its Freedom 4-Packs. These are good anytime this season and transferable to anyone. They're $79 per ticket, which is a savings of 25% ($26) off Magic's online ticket price and 34% off its walk-up ticket rate.

The Jackson Hole Golden Ticket deal for 50% off started out as an early season idea. For 2025-26, it applies to early season, early Jan after the holiday period, and late season. Ikon and Epic passes count.

"Skiers and snowboarders who own a valid 2025-26 winter resort season pass ANYWHERE in the world can enjoy lift ticket discounts when traveling to Jackson Hole. Valid Winter 2025/26, Nov. 28 - Dec. 18, Jan. 5 - 16 and Mar. 16 - Apr. 12."

There are a number of good deals at resorts in New Hampshire:

At King Pine, all guests can ski or ride from 3:30–8 PM on Tuesdays for just $20.

Cranmore Mountain Resort offers select Sunday deals for its guests—on Jan. 11, Feb. 8, and March 15—when online purchasers can enjoy full-day access for $59

Every Sunday at Bretton Woods, qualifying locals can purchase an afternoon half-day alpine ticket for $42 or a Nordic trail pass for $15, with a few blackout dates (12/28, 1/18, and 2/15).

At Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire residents with a valid ID pay just $54 on off-peak Wednesdays, while NH seniors 65+ ski free on weekdays.

Locals from Carroll and Coos counties in New Hampshire and Oxford County in Maine can ski Cranmore Mountain Resort on non-holiday Sunday afternoons for $38, and enjoy night skiing for $35, or go tubing for $25 on non-holiday Wednesdays from 2–8 PM.
