Has anyone skied in South America (and more specifically, Chile)?? I'm planning a trip there for next summer, and I'm looking at Portillo or Valle Nevado - thoughts?

If anyone has advice in terms best snow, terrain, etc. and in terms of lodging, food, entertainment, etc.
