We did the one at LL each time we've gone and it's been amazing. Lake Louise is a steep place so the green route tour was more than enough for me. Michael did the blue one

Divas can be found everywhere !
So appreciative of all of the divas on this forum. Without all of your valuable knowledge and advice, I would have never thought of going for a solo ski trip to a mountain that I have never been to. And to start my trip with just a few days of planning!!

One thing I (re)learned is that weather forecast in the mountain area can be very misleading even in the AI era. I came with the expectation that it will be a week of no sun all clouds some flurry. Boy, the first day at LL, @wernerslab and I were blessed with a gorgeous day of blue sky, decorative clouds and snow covered peaks and lakes visble from different angles.

In addition, the ski friends tour and meet up with another diva on the hill has made this trip so much more joyful and rewarding.

Thank you all!

Tours at both Banff Sunshine and Louise meet at the main base (at Sunshine that is top of gondola)--around 10am at Louise and just before noon at Sunshine. The guides and meeting places are well marked. Snowhost info for Sunshine can be found here: https://www.skibanff.com/snowhosts/
I just did the tours at both resorts last week. LL actually had 2 tours every day. The AM tour starts at 10am and the PM tour starts at 1:15pm. I, and some others, did 2 on the same day and they are very flexible if you want to leave early or join a different tour at a different level. SS tour starts at noon.

Both tours are wonderful. Even if it's not your first time skiing there, different tour friends/hosts have different stories to share. And with the forever changing weather on the mountains, it's never going to be the same experience. Highly recommend these tours.
