I used to bring carrots with my lunch, but since I keep lunch in a backpack they were always frozen solid and kind of unpleasant. Last season I switched to one or two of those lovely little clementines. Mmm, mmm, good!

I usually bring along a power bar or two. It's nice to have something on the lift, in case I get hungry.

Saddly, I ski little hills in Michigan. Its never difficult to get to food if necessary.
For Lunch, however, my husband loves the tailgate party. While I'm skiing, he's fixing lunch.
We ALWAYS get to the slopes early enough for first chair and HIS parking spot.
Anyone who wants to bring something by that can go in a turkey frier........he'll throw it in!
I like it best when we make chili or stew for the turkey fryer and just have rolls to compliment.

Snowhot, that looks like so much fun! All I get is a power bar or two, and maybe some over-the-top-in-calories-and-dollars chili.
Wish I had someone to cook in the parking lot for me!

Whoa! Cool!!! Wish my husband were doing that!

I'm going to carry nuts this year - a ounce or so of almonds or peanuts in a little zip-loc bag. Got to get out of the protein/granola bar rut.

Liquidfeet, Iski, .......fun?
Yea!
Its an event. Our hills are a lot smaller than most of you ski, but we have so much fun, and our tailgate time is such a social event, we've gained so many friends, I wouldn't trade it for anything!
