We have This I the garage for the winter. Our ski season is over so we have them waxed up and standing in our sump room in our heated basement

In addition to a coat of summer wax, Mr. Blizzard also lowers the DIN on all the skis, with a note, if needed, to remind the owner it needs to be reset next winter. It’s probably overkill, knowing him, but I thought I’d put it out there.

My skis that were tuned per Mr. Blizzard‘s expectations have a large label on them to set the Din next season!

Seems like keeping them in a bag or tube would also be helpful during the off season to keep dust and stuff out of the bindings. Am I being too precious? I like the idea of storing them flat and in a climate controlled environment.
