Hello!
After much commiseration, I realize that I should demo some skis before buying. Thanks, everyone! My sister seconded this.
I know that a list of ski swaps was put on here, but I can't find the thread.
Also - I'm really excited for this year's demo days in the Northeast!!! Does anyone have dates yet? I saw that last year there were quite a few in December.
There was also a thread from last year about Smuggs having demo days on Tuesdays for $20 - what a deal! Do they only carry certain brands? On their site they listed close-outs for just Dynastar and Rossis.
The more I read these threads the more I want to try those Fischers!
