Ski Diva at the Boston Ski Show!

I know we've already had a thread about the Boston Ski Show, but I wanted to get this out there, for those of you who may not already know:

For the first time ever, the show is having a special exhibit on women's skiing, and they've asked me to be part of the program. So I'll be doing a talk Friday night at 7PM and Saturday at 1PM. My topic will be Skiing with Confidence, which I think resonates with us all. Even if you can't stay for the talk, stop by and say hi. On Saturday I'll be at the exhibit starting at 11AM, so plenty of time for a quick hello.

Hope to see you there!

So excited for you! Will you share your talk with those of us who can’t be there in person?

Good idea, maybe someone could record it for you and you could post it here or in your blog for divas who aren't local?

I'm hoping to be there one of the days. Originally I was planning to go Thursdsay, but now I might do Friday. I would go Saturday, but I think I'm heading in a completely different direction for Warren Miller that afternoon, AND I'd rather not add a day to my normal Boston commute!

Good going! I really like the 'new' Ski Diva suggested Logo!
I wish I lived closer to Boston, this show sounds great, the Albany ski (and car) show is next weekend It pales in comparison to the Boston show..

Can you Go Live and Skype or Youtube your talk @ski diva? (and yes I'm technologically challenged and clueless how to do this)

Oh God, me too. Plus the idea of 1) seeing myself doing this on video, and 2) having it preserved for all time on video, scares the crap out of me.

Maybe I'll put the text up as a blog post after the event.

@ski diva - I had to chuckle! There are videos of me demonstrating various Pilates moves or modifications up on our studio website and on Vimeo. It was pretty freaky looking at myself the first few times! And every so often someone will step up and tell me they saw me online. I totally get your reaction!

So the big days are almost here! I'm planning to be there for Wendy's talk at 7 on Friday, but I might have a cane or wheelchair :( More knee problems, but I need the inspiration!

Here's how the logo came out on the 2018 flyer. Unfortunately, the version that ended up in the Boston Globe was from last year. But all the info is on the Ski Expo website.

The discount code is WINTER for $3 off when you get a ticket online.

The booth isn't listed on the paper list of exhibitors (inside pages) but is featured on the front. Her Turn stands out. On the diagram on the back, it's close to the door on the side where Subaru is located. If the Freestyle Rail Jam is going on, they have a loud microphone. But that's only for specific times. When something special is happening at Her Turn, it's announced over the main speaker system.

The "fitness specialist" is showing people yoga positions.

Sorry I forgot to take a picture on Thursday.
