Neat! 92nd street is pretty far, but that sounds cool... Do you have to be a current Y member, or is "regular" price for non members?

Why would they schedule a ski conditioning workshop on a sunday afternoon during ski season?? I'll be skiing!

Does sound good, though... I'll keep in mind on the off-chance we don't ski that weekend.

;) me too (I hope!) I thought the same thing. Should have been on a Wednesday or Thursday after work, but I'd bet there's competition for the space during those times.

For people who THINK they'll finally go skiing this season?

I've seen that before. A "prepare for cycling season" on a brilian Sunday afternoon in May!!! Anyone who's really a cyclist would have been out cycling for real, not going to a gym "preparing" for the cycling season!

Not to mention December really is a busy time for most people with holiday parties and such.

I'm only guessing this is run by a skier to attract the occasional skiers. The biggest ski holiday is X'mas, which is a bit too late to start "conditioning" in Dec. 2!!! Same goes with the "get fit for the season in 10 days" from the ski magazines. Though it's better than not doing anything at all, I suppose...

Sorry for being such a cynic.
