Ski Communities

My husband and I would like to research ski clubs/organizations/groups. I’m not sure what the right term is.
It was mentioned to us a couple of years ago, but we are just now reaching the place where we feel solid enough on the slopes to investigate this option.
Basically our goal is to have others to ski with and seeking lodging/travel deals.
