Anyone belong to a ski club? In northern New Hampshire there are about 20 clubs with lodges all within a 20 mile radius, close to multiple ski mountains. These clubs are predominantly singles clubs, but not all of them. Membership in a club, for a yearly fee of around $300 (+ or -), offers discounts of all kinds, a key to the lodge for year-round use, a race program that's easy to get involved in, a place to bring guests for overnights, people to ski with, organized parties every weekend during ski season and during summer holiday weekends as well, and even a cook and hot meals on weekends during ski season (some clubs).

The umbrella organization to which all these clubs belong is EICSL, Eastern InterClub Ski League, found at https://www.eicsl.org/. From the EICSL site you can access all the member club's websites. I belong to the SkiBees, and encourage anyone interested in checking out any of these clubs to take a peek at its website as well https://www.ski-bees.com/.

Anyone else have information about other ski clubs or groups of clubs?

Northern California also has a terrific league of ski clubs. Open League has clubs that allow anyone to be a member -- single, married, and kids. Singles league is for single people 21 or over. Sierra league has membership like Open League, but their members generally live in the Reno / Tahoe area.

I've been a member of Snow Drifters ski club (Singles League) in the San Jose / Mountain View area for 10 years now and love it:

Singles, Open, and Sierra all ski and race in the Tahoe area. Singles league clubs have recently passed a rule that grandfathers in people who were club members and got married so they can still race with the league, which is great for me. The racing is all very fun -- they have 10 different levels, from beginners just on skis to former college raceers, and you're placed in a level based on your ski ability. As you get better, there's a system for moving up in the classes. Joining a club is a great way to meet people and get to the mountains more often.
