I only started skiing 3 years ago, so my list is short but we are lucky to live in Colorado and have lots of resorts close by!

I forgot to add Grands Montets to my 2024-25 list. Was my first experience skiing outside the USA. Got in a few hours during a trip to Chamonix with my 20-something daughter in April. Wasn't sure we'd go skiing but the stars aligned for good weather the one day that made sense to go skiing. We also went up to Aiguille du Midi on a morning with good views.

Skied all the Swiss resorts you mentioned, some of Italy, and half of the French resorts. Skied two resorts in Austria, Kitzbuhel and Bad Gastein. Gotta love skiing in Europe mostly for the experience and the views. Off piste is better with a guide.

These are the alpine resorts. Iave also skied backcountry and nordic in a few more states and countries.

I don’t normally like lists, but this exercise made me appreciate that at least half were as a kid not an adult, and there are many places left to explore when I am no longer tied to the home hill where I work. Now off dream of Canada, Norway and Finland (Nordic/BC), maybe south America, and maybe some hitherto small resorts that often get overlooked and always end up being my favorite.
