Wow, that's scary! I'm claustrophobic, and I'm hyperventilating just watching the video and the re-enactment.

DUH, I wasn't paying enough attention, didn't realize it was a reenactment.

Mt Bohemia is known for their comical hyjinx. They are also known for their serious skiing.

I think this article and pic are funny, but then I knew it couldn't be what it seemed to be.

Could have been tragic, boarders are so immobile when they are upside down. Good pic, I think.

Another weird story:

Last year, a host at Brighton was sking under the lift and saw a ski in the snow---skied up to get it, and a boot was attached---pulled it up and a LEG was attached. He almost had a hard attack.

He radioed dispatch and apparently, what happened, was its owner, waiting at top, lost his prosthetic leg/boot/ski while adjusting the clamp on the lift.

Another host day on the hill........

True story:
My dad was in a group of people where the discussion turned to crisis moments.
(first let me say, my dad is fun waaaaay too much fun)
He was an ambulance driver for a few years and knows what it means to handle crisis, with a cool head, and with some respect for those involved in the chaos.

However, to the question -"If your house were burning down what is the ONE thing you would make sure to take out of the fire?"
Dad's response:
My camera, because I'd never get another chance to get a picture of my house burning down.

Yup, he'd have saved the life of the skier in the tree well, but not before getting a picture. :D

C'mon, laugh!
You know its funny!!
