Actually, I think we've got it pretty well covered here in "Ski Gear." Someone almost always posts a heads-up on a good sale. I just got my $3.83 (or thereabouts) REI-Outlet SmartWools yesterday! That sale would have passed me by if I hadn't read the post.

After the first thaw in early Jan, I posted in Misc, "Someone Stop Me" re: outlet shopping. Never did get there, nor just recently prior to the crush of Pres Day sales (darn)---so distance really is a reasonably good "deterrent" (usually...).

Now if only I could disable my internet connection.....
Ha, like I can't, with the click of a mouse. JUST...CAN'T....DO...IT!
