Okaaaay here ya go ... not what you'd call extensive and its a looong time since I busted out the floral ! Im more of a blacks and neutral kinda gal these days although I was tempted by the PE Nation bright green jacket but I managed to reign myself in.
Im such a creature of habit that I just reach for the safety of the black Burton most of the time in saying that I do have half an eye open for a fabulous companion to my new pants ! 20221115_085204.jpg

Yes, I will show this thread to my kids next time they visit and make the comment that how many jackets can one woman have! I do tend to always wear the same ski jacket though as I now have a lovely warm one - and it's fuschia (or some such bright colour). I have a black jacket that's extremely warm but my ski buddies prefer it when I'm bright so I can be seen. I go to a lighter weight jacket in spring.

I remember when I was teaching a weekly ladies group I had to beg them not to wear a different jacket as that was how I remembered their names! (Joan was in black, Mary in red, etc.)

I have 7 jackets. Starting from left to right: A salmon color insulated pullover from Columbia. It's usually too warm for Colorado. Next is an orange floral rain jacket from Columbia. No pit zips . 3rd is a lime green shell from Eddie Bauer. I got it right before my ski season got cut short on March. It's never been used, but it's my most expensive piece. Next is a black shell from Burton that I will probably use a lot this year. I got some crazy bright patterned pants from TNF & black goes great with them. Next is a black grid fleece from Eddie Bauer for warm days & skinning. 6th is a blurple rain jacket from Patagonia. This one has pit zips but not the extra ski specific stuff I've grown fond of. Last is a houndstooth 3 in 1 jacket from Columbia that was my go to last year. I still really love it.

I did not realize when I started this thread that my photos of my now-neat closet arrangements might discourage others from posting. Since there's an active "Jacket Slut" thread I thought people would love to post pictures of what they talked about there. I'm still hanging onto some hope.

I just did this closet reorganization two weeks ago so I could find my things as ski season starts. Now that the jackets are organized so neatly, I love looking in there to see the colors and options.

I do not expect my closets to stay like that once ski season starts. Things will end up on the floor, in other storage areas, in the back of my car, on its floor, and some will end up in my ski club bunk room. I'll have trouble finding what I want because it will no longer be where it is now, and I won't remember where I put it. I am not normally an organized person so getting this done was quite a task.

Right now everything is organized by type. I've hung up the jackets that are too big for me, the ones I hope to wear later in the season that are at this point too little for me, and those which fit now. Once my size stops changing (yes, it's going down now), the jackets that no longer fit will end up in boxes somewhere when I get the time to get another big organizing task done.

And yes, I know I've got too many.

OK, Divas. Time to fess up. Show us your quiver.
How many ski jackets do you have?

I'll start.
This is the puffie closet. There are also a a few jackets in here.

Here's the jacket closet. No puffies in here. Notice there's only one black jacket. I used to only wear black.

Here's the black jacket closet. I still have them; love them.

None of your friends or family wanted to have an intervention?

Time to fess up

Mine are mostly all up at the condo in Maine right now, so I can’t take a picture.
Same! Mine are all at the house in Maine and I am in Massachusetts- stay tuned. While my jacket/pant collection is bountiful it is not nearly as lovely as some. That said, I expect no one can touch my hat/neck warmer collection…my Skida bounty is gloriously obscene and my family adds to it at most gift giving opportunities.
And yes, I know I've got too many
Wait, is that a thing?

Want to start a thread showing our hats and neck warmers?

I would be very surprised if I cannot run around the room saying “I am a winner!”

That collection is largely in ME too. Next week!
