Hmm. Do midlayers and puffies count if I'm always so cold I never wear them as an outer layer skiing?

But you are very stylish! I have a confession to make - I looked at your avatar pic and thought to myself that a fitted jacket may look cute on me too maybe. So I recently bought a Poivre Blanc Judy jacket on sale, it was a 2020 model so a great deal and the jacket is new. I's an elegant dark navy color, almost black with a hint of blue. So, you inspired me to think about my ski clothes style a bit differently. You could work as a model for ski wear!

That is link to jacket pic below. Mine is a dark navy color not the bright yellow, but I like the fitted look and the faux fur trim  The hood fits over the helmet and it's a decent technical jacket with waterproofing and good pockets.

The Poivre Blanc jacket looks good on me, I am glad I got it. I am tall (6'1), not super slim, more athletic with larger muscular thighs and wider hips, but I have a well-defined waist so fitted jackets are a good look for me!
I have felt the same way looking at @Mudgirl630 ‘s avatar! Lol I just have not had an opportunity to try on any fitted jackets though. My shoulders are a little wide for my size and I have very long arms as well for size small.. so I always need to try on jackets in person and never see nice high end fitted ski jackets around here to do that. Brands either work very well for me or not at all, usually no in between.

Did you order online?

You guys are so hilarious! I'm the complete opposite -- when I find a jacket I like, I marry it -- till death (its death, LOL) do us part :rotf: . Looking for a new jacket is a months-long research project for me, and once I decide on one, that's it! (I'm the same way with shoes, BTW -- I have seasonal shoes, of course, but usually stick with one pair at a time).

I'm proud to announce, however, that I did get a new jacket last season, as well as a new helmet, so I have a completely new look this season.

One thing I will say, though, is that you jacket slut winners have enough jackets to supply the homeless population of a small town, so when you decide to retire from skiing, that might be a nice way to re-home them.

I wear Franurenschuh(Austrian made) and Authier(Italian made)mostly. Unfortunately, the latter is only sold in one store in Aspen in USA. I know what size I wear in Frauenschuh, so I have bought some of them online. There are two stores in Aspen that sell them. The jacket I am wearing in the avatar is by Authier. I am not sure what pants I am wearing.
Thanks, ladies.

Oh yes, when I get rid of clothes I always give them away. All of my jackets have already been passed on at least once since I buy them used.

I got started collecting (too many) ski jackets from thrift shops because I wanted to introduce friends to skiing, friends who didn't ski and needed appropriate clothing for the cold weather we have here. I found jackets and pants that were ridiculously cheap at thrift shops back then, so couldn't resist.
