Shoutout to the end-of-season Divas at Alta (and their friends)!

Just wanted to say thanks to the group of Divas who so kindly met up with me to introduce me to some real-life Divas at Alta yesterday. Usually I ski alone (or just with my husband) so I begged off from being part of a gang until I get used to the idea, but they insisted on taking me down once, likely a slope WAY too easy for them. I enjoyed our chats and rides up the lifts, and all of them were kind and super nice. A+ way to be introduced to the Divas, thanks to @marzNC and all!! I'm sure I'll be seeing you somewhere next season!

Actually, we spend quite a bit of time lapping that blue groomer during spring skiing conditions. JF and @TNtoTaos were lapping Supreme on Big Dipper and Rock N Roll this afternoon. One of my favorite runs at Alta has been Rock N Roll since I was an adventurous intermediate and that hasn't changed now that I also enjoy skiing black terrain at Alta and other destination resorts.

I'm sure I'll be seeing you somewhere next season!
Remember there will be Divas at Taos all of February . . . <hint> <hint>

I managed to do 5 laps of Rock N Roll today!! I saw JF and @TNtoTaos early on at the top of Sunnyside and said hi and I think I passed them a couple of times later when I was lapping Big Dipper. I did Devil's Elbow first thing and could tell it wasn't going to handle the day well: hard on the top slope and already mushy on the slope under the lift by 10. Bob tried it later and said it was pertty bad.
It was really great to meet to you all and it was fun to see people I "knew" on the slopes! Pretty soon I'll feel like a "local," lol.

p.s. we're trying to figure out how to get to Taos!
Best timing to get the most out of a Taos Ski Week might be the last week of January. There will be Divas around Taos all of February. Even when the Women's Ski Week happens the last week of Feb, there are also regular Ski Weeks so your DH could do one at the same time.

As you heard, @TNtoTaos has been spending at least four weeks staying in town for a few seasons. It's made a big difference in her skiing.

Last two years we've skied from before Thanksgiving until New Years in SLC, mostly just the early season limited runs at our IKON unlimited Solitude (which is VERY limited for my level of skiing). Then we've taken off to do a loop: first year was Frisco (Copper Mt), Winterpark, Steamboat, Back to Frisco and back to SLC/Park City until the snow melt. This year was SLC early until New Years, then Buttermilk/Snowmass, Frisco (Copper and A-Basin), Steamboat, Big Sky, Sun Valley (yikes! SV was too steep for me!) and back to SLC/Park City for the last 5 weeks of the season (Solitude, Brighton, Alta, Deer Valley, Snowbasin - honestly, I don't particularly care for Snowbird for a couple of reasons). I'm at 77 days this year, but some were pre-Thanksgiving short laps of Easy Street at Solitude when literally NOTHING else was open. Never too early to get the balance back!
I grew up skiing at Dodge Ridge in CA. Sometimes we'd go to other places in the Northern Sierra, but all I really remember is at Dodge.

Whenever you're interested in talking about Taos just let me know. My ski buddy Rita (@DivaTNRB) and I will be in Taos for 6 wks again next season, and are happy to help you learn the ropes there. It was fun to meet up with you at Alta -- always great to welcome a new Diva into the fold!
