Question: Should we go tomorrow?

I can't decide and I think I need some non-biased opinions.

It POURED rain in the Northeast all day yesterday and half of Wednesday. Inches of rain.

We were planning on making tomorrow our first day out, but I don't know if it's worth it. They *say* their base is 8-20", but after the rain...

The mountain is a two-hour drive north (it rained there, too...maybe a little ice/snow, but nothing to speak of). I'm dying to get out! If we don't go tomorrow, we can't go until the weekend after Christmas. DH has limited weekends off, I think this is another reason I'm SO eager to get out. If we don't go until the 28th, we only have 3 weekends to go, total, until Mid-March.

Should we go?

If I had only three weekends to go til mid-March, I'd be out there. That said, be prepared for it to be icy. The snow is pretty saturated, and it's only supposed to get up to 15 here in VT tomorrow. On the other hand, maybe the recent bad weather will keep the crowds away!

Where were you planning to go?

Okay, yay. :becky:

I can't tell you how much you two just lightened my mood, lol. I was getting all down-in-the-dumps because I think I was starting to think it wouldn't be worth it.

Diva - Catamount. I don't think they've gotten much (if any) natural snowfall yet, but...that's okay. We'll be prepared for the conditions. And you're right - I don't think the crowds will be coming!

Also, we have dinner plans tomorrow night, so we won't be doing a full day. We'll probably go early and head out around 2.

Thanks, gals! :ski2:
