Question: Should I buy them(demo skis)?

So I found demo skis (mantra 84w w demo bindings) that I tried and liked a lot albeit a little longer than I demoed(163 vs 170 for sale). Advice from my previous chat makes me think that I would probably ski ok on the longer ski. The binding is a marker squire tcx demo binding and the skis have about 5-7 days on them. I was waiting for availability in the fall and having to choose bindings for new skis. I don't consider myself an advanced or aggressive skier. Just looking for some expert advice since my IRL peeps have zero skiers in the mix. I have only ever skied rentals so not sure what bindings I have been on before. If it turns out I don't like the bindings, I can just shop around and install a new binding, right? If for some reason the length is all wrong, I can resell too?

I had that squire demo binding on my SA 88's. I didn't mind the binding at all.

Go for it. You've been renting. Now you will not have to stand in a rental line for skis.

Also depending on when the skis landed in the US, they could be more expensive with the tariffs next fall.

The marker squire demo is pretty good. It's fairly light for a demo binding as well. I say buy!

I had been thinking about potential tariff impact too.

I bought some Nordica Santa Ana 97's about a month ago with demo bindings, and I skied on them right away and couldn't tell the difference with the demo bindings. I feel like if it ever bothers me, I could have it switched out. I'm glad you went ahead and ordered them!

Great ski. I demoed them at Mount Bachelor last March and loved them.
