Serious boot question

Is a Attive flame ultrafit too much of a boot for someone who is an intermediate skier.... or is this a case of a salesperson wanting to make a sale to clear inventory. I wish people would be honest. I am (like i said) an intermediate skier, about 50 yrs old (young), in good shape. I do ski mostly blues. Wouldn't mind working my way up to some blacks - just to do it and to get better. Improvement and uping my confidence is my goal.....the boot is a very good price????? Feedback PLEASE!! How does one decide on new boots when there aren't that many in my local area to try on??? oh, and my foot isn't particularly funky - a little pronation - solved mostly with a superfeet insole.

Easily answered. No, I don't think this boot is too much for an advancing intermediate. The flex is medium. The boot has a lot of adjustments. If it fits you well, I wouldn't worry about its skier ability rating. It's such a nice boot, it will help you get onto those blacks all that much quicker! Good luck. Anything in the 250 range is a great price for this boot, BTW.
