Senseo Coffee Machine

This is totally unrelated to skiing (well except for those that need coffee before skiing) but I received a link to get a Senseo Coffee Machine for $15 shipping and thought some Divas might be interested. For me, it's a perfect option since I'm only one person and sometimes just don't feel like dealing with my french press for one cup.

heh. This looks just like (in concept) what I call a K-Cup machine. We have one at work and I'd never used one before - but now I love the thing. We got one at home too since it eliminates the messy/planning part of having coffee.

Oh and you can use it for more than just coffee. DH has some Lemon Zinger tea cups, and I have hot chocolate cups that I just love!

Robyn,

Thank you so much for this! I have been wanting to buy a single serve machine for work (coffee is dang expensive here in Telluride), and now I just took part in this promotion, so now I'll be set! I do hate the environmental impact of these machines, but the money I'll save is great!

I got my Senseo today, looks good! All assembled, flushed and ready to go. If the mood strikes me, I may give it a try a little bit later here!

Thanks for the tip, Robyn!

ordered one for me!!! While in Spain, I used similar systems at the hotels---and vowed to get something at home for my coffee and tea fixes. So, done!

thanks for the tip.

Oh my, don't bring up coffee machines! I'm a cappuccino nut, and finally treated myself to a nice Italian cappuccino machine 3 years ago. Through a lot of trial and error I taught myself how to make a perfect cappuccino, and I have one every morning. Of course, I make it exactly like I want it, with thick creamy foam (none of that cardboard foam like you get in Starbucks), and I've become a snob about it ever since because nobody anywhere (or hardly anywhere) bother to make it as well as I do for myself!!!:laugh::laugh: I justified the cost of this machine (as well as the grinder) because I figured out what I was spending in the coffee shops, and this machine quite literally paid for itself in about 4 months (considering coffee costs for hubby and myself over that period of time). It's so nice every morning to sit out on the deck looking at the mountains and sipping a cup of cappuccino made with coffee roasted just a few days ago (yes, the freshness of the coffee bean is absolutely critical!).
