Why wait? Do it this year.
The snow was FANTASTIC! We demoed some Head skis, had sunshine, got hassled at the border crossing (on both sides), and generally had a GREAT time.
Met up with Jenny and her friends on the hill, chatted and got pics (waiting for picture taker to get around to downloading from memory card to CD for me - he's somewhat computer illiterate). Some of my pics from our adventures are on Facebook.
Why wait? Do it this year.

Yep - any day at Searchmont is a good day as far as I'm concerned! There was sun, blue sky, not much wind and lots of snow. It might be spring down here, but I bet there's still good snow there even now.
My husband had suggested driving up again for one last time this year, but I have a meeting on Monday morning (what was I thinking with that?). Darn work, anyway - it interferes with so much. Although it does finance a lot, too, like the house, skis, food, etc. Sigh.
We do three weekends at Searchmont a year, so maybe we can meet up. As Volklgirl said, we met, chatted, but didn't actually do any runs together - her group is much more advanced!
